$25k Brand & Website Refresh
A 10-week intensive project specifically designed for smaller nonprofits. Take your nonprofit’s website from one that’s informative to one that’s well-organized, designed to engage your audiences, and represents your mission, brand, and vision for the future.
It’s no secret that 2025 has been marked by unprecedented challenges for nonprofits. On top of that, strategy and design services have become less affordable for smaller nonprofits.
That’s why this service exists—so that smaller nonprofits can get brand strategy, digital strategy, and a WordPress site at a price that works for them.

How the process works
1
Research & Discovery
We’ll get to know each other and talk about your goals
I’ll get to know your organization. I want to know what works and what doesn’t. We’ll discuss the problems we’re solving and what success looks like. And we’ll start to have a clear picture of where we’re going in the future.
2
Assessment
I’ll conduct an audit of your current brand and website
I’ll conduct an audit of your organization’s current brand system, content, technology, and design. I’ll also conduct peer and sector research, review your website analytics, and any other research I need to do.
3
Brand workshop
We’ll explore your unique brand in a half-day workshop
Your brand is the spark, and everything else emerges from it. We’ll explore your vision, positioning, audiences, brand promises, strengths, personality, and brand voice. We’ll also explore how to effectively talk about your work and how change happens, as well as narrative change and storytelling.
4
Digital Strategy Workshop
We’ll learn more about your audiences and how they can support you through your new website
Digital strategy is all about utilizing technology to achieve your goals. And that means presenting the right messages and content to the right people in the right way at the right time and asking them to do the right things.
5
Collaborative UX workshop
We’ll spend a half day exploring the sitemap, navigation, and design together
We’ll collaborate on the website’s structure and layout to make sure it achieves your goals while also creating a great, accessible, and action-oriented user experience for your visitors.
6
Build & Launch
Then, the work begins to build your new WordPress website.
The last phase is to build the WordPress website from all of the strategy and collaborative UX work that we completed together in our workshops. Then, you can start adding content and launch when you’re ready.
The WordPress platform we start with accommodates most major platforms used by nonprofits. If you’re not sure, reach out and I can look into it for you.
Project Profile
Vermont Horse Council
The equine industry in Vermont is strong—from recreational riding to draft horses working in low-impact logging and timber harvesting. Around $37 million in revenue is generated annually from out-of-state visitors—a sizable contributor to the state’s economy. The incoming council President knew the organization would benefit from being able to initiate new memberships, renewals, and donations online. And it needed a website that reflected who the organization was—more than just a trail riding club. After a series of workshops, we developed a new website for the Vermont Horse Council on WordPress, integrating Donorbox, MailChimp, Google Workspace, Events Calendar, and a member-only section with resources, discounts, and trails exclusively for members.
